funny sign

I found this chicken shop near Sakurai station in Minoo.

Their awning said they have the "fresit" eggs and chicken. I am hoping they intended it to mean "freshest".

Hope I made you smile.

Or maybe they mean "free range?" Although I think your theory is probably the correct one.

This reminds me of a funny web site: http://www.engrish.com/ There are a lot of funny misspellings to be found!

Hello, Kat san and Satoshi san :)
It's nice to meet you !!
I also live in Minoo, near Osaka University.

I am really enjoying your blog, I find there are so many good restaurants and cafes around the station since I don't really hang out there, but I've got to change my mind, my city isn't just a countryside but such a wonderful place XD

Thank you very much, I am looking forward to finding new things about my city here ;)

Thanks Kirkk :)

Thanks Steve :)

Take care everyone.

I think it would have helped if they had a cute, plump cartoon chicken image to go with those words. If anything, it would really get your curiosity so that you'd go in to check it out! Heehee

oh right! Didn't realise that ganache meant chocolate + cream! haha...oh dear...the sign. I really cannot make out of what it really means...they really need to correct it. :P

I hope you enjoy your stay in Osaka, Nozess!

Oh no Zozo! Keep warm!

That would be funny Rowena :)

There are many signs like this all around Japan, Phoebe, I can't believe they pay for bad spellings.

Take care everyone.

It's a shame that the big corporations are as guilty. Some shoddy English to look hip and cool; when at the same time people are taken as ignorant.

So true Adekun.
