daydream

The weather in Japan at the moment is still, in my opinion...miserable. Winds do blow, but very warm winds...blah!

This is great for laundry because it dries in like seconds...but bad for plants because it needs more water than usual.

At least if you are in the shade it is a little cooler, but not as cool as I would like.

Have a feeling that "Autumn" here will be somewhat delayed and shortened. Hopefully figs will start popping up in the market to cheer me up.

In the meantime, I have been gazing at my photos from Hawaii and praying for tradewinds.

Hope you have a nice week.

Your comment of the "very warm winds" is so true. To me though, it was HOT winds in Okinawa. Glad for the tradewinds here at home. It'll get better.

Not for a moment do I take for granted the breeze brought by our tradwinds. I close my eyes and enjoy the gentle wind on my face. I wish I could send some your way.

Yikes! Warm winds? I hope things get better for you soon. Sounds like beer season is still trying to hang on.

Hi there.

I was hoping today would be a rainy day to bring temperatures down but no such luck.

The high today is supposed to be only 30 which is a drop in 5 degrees or so from 2 weeks ago so. It must be the cloud cover and the breeze.

We're getting there slowly but surely.

Hang in there, Kat.

Kat, what would we do without our smartphones to store our photos, right?

When people used to ask to see pictures of my kids, I would check my bag to see if I had any snapshots of them. Now I just whip out my iPhone and show them! ;)

I hope you get some cooler winds soon and many fresh figs!

Eek, it sounds like standing in front of an open oven, which is so fun. Hopefully, looking at those lovely photos will bring on some real life relief!
