soup weather

Wednesday, it rained all.day.long.

Perfect soup weather.

I made a batch of Kim chee chige (minus the pork), using up what veggies I had in my refridge (a little kabocha, carrot, kinoko (shimeji & maitake)).

I think it may have been a bit too salty for Satoshi but it really hit the spot.

Is it soup weather where you are?

That looks like it definitely hit the spot on a wet day. Italy is actually having a revisit from summer. Winds from Africa are making temps go UP! 20°C at ours yesterday and the news reported 25°-30°C in mid to southern Italy. People were tanning at the beaches!

whoa Rowena?! is that what they call indian summer? kinda like the opposite of when we want Spring to come, yeah?!

Take care.

Yep, full on indian summer, although I don't see why it's called that when the winds are coming from Africa! Anyway, warm temps until Friday and then back to the cold again.

Rowena, we're gonna have rain tomorrow and then supposedly the temps are supposed to go down....supposedly.

Take care.
