maika'i

In Hawaiian, maika'i means "good".

I recently came upon these eco-bags in Foodland.

I like that these are made of fabric and that they are washable.

Previously I bought their oil cloth type bags, which I wrote up here.

They are a bit pricey at $9.99 + tax, but, with your Maika'i card (Foodland's point card), you'll get a $1 off.

Maika'i (good) things all around.

Have a nice week.

I like the oil cloth type bags too Rowena, but during the summer they stick to me with the humidity. These cloth types are nice because I can wash them :)

Take care!

I guess we'll get a couple when we get back home. Those Foodland bags seem to be collector's items for some folks.

I had no idea people collect these bags, Kirk :) hope you two will be making a visit here soon!

Take care.

Smaller than the musubi ones, though, right? I think I thought it might not be practical for me and my massive grocery list.

I checked in their site Sheri..
musubi bag is 12"w x 8.5" d x 13.5" h (20" handles)
maika'i bag is 14.5"w x 7" d x 15.5" h (11" handles)
guess both are kinda big :)

take care.

Oh that's pretty big! Maybe I'll check it out next time.

I would've thought the musubi on was bigger too Sheri :)

Take care.
