Signs that Spring is coming..the cyclamen on the lanai started blooming (early!)

A nearby pocket park has an ume tree that started blooming too.

Stumbled upon an interesting house near my dentist's office.

It had all these "pockets" filled with succulents and many other plants.

My fave market got a sweet potato roaster...whoo!

So sad to see all the hate against different races in the US these days.

Anonymous said...: I decided that I like plum flower season better. Less crowded, love the colder temperatures, fragrant flowers and now, the yakisoba from the booths at Sogabessho(?) is stuck in my mind. Don't know if I was hungry but it was the best yakisoba I ever ate!
Most interesting building with the pots all around. I wonder if it helps insulate the house but hope no typhoon in that area!
