spotted this furry one on the 3rd story of its house, the glass for their windows makes it hard to photograph...
the description in english for the corn dogs says that the batter could be made of corn or wheat, so this might be a "wheat dog"...ha!
Tokyo People: spotted these two in yukata
Komeda Coffee's mini tropical...strawberry, lemon, and blue hawaii (might be my last shaved ice...maybe)
got my absentee ballot...whoo!
Tokyo People: this guy exercising after or maybe before lunch
Machimobi is apparently a new way to get around the city...these were kinda slow moving, which is why they are probably allowed on the sidewalks...
V gave us some goya tsukemono (bittermelon pickles) and ume shiso rakkyo (scallions pickled with ume (pickled plum) and shiso (perilla)) from Abe Farm Miyako, a shop in Ishinomaki, these were delicious! (thank you V!)
City Bakery's chicken banh mi, delicious! but was missing daikon
And their morning buns, a croissant dough baked in a muffin shape, this was flaky and delicious with lots of cinnamon, sugar and a little cardamom.
Some days are hot, some days are rainy, some days are cool, some are humid...

It was so hot. Too bad we couldn't find kakigori. And for sure was hotter before!

Was sad we couldn't find kakigori V, thanks again for the pickles! Take care, Kat
Hmmm, no daikon? Did the banh mi have cucumber Kat? That's what seems to be missing in the versions I get nowadays.
