eep

Yesterday after coming out of the bath, I noticed I had all these red bumps across my stomach area, they are all different sizes

I hadn't noticed it before going into the bath, so I looked online and it might be from the hot water of the furo

It doesn't hurt and isn't itchy just not nice to look at.

Hoping it isn't shingles, after looking online, it doesn't look like it but will go to the doctor if it gets worse or starts to hurt.

Hope nothing serious. Were you wearing tighter pants?
I actually have some kind of rash too and been slathering with cortisone cream over the counter type. I tried calling my dermatologist for an appointment but they haven't returned my call in 3 days!!

If shingles you would know it's painful like electricity running along your nerve endings. You couldn't let clothing touch it. There is a shot that shortens the period but best to get the vaccine. If you had chicken pox it's a high chance you'll get shingles. I got it running from my inner ear to my jaw. Drove me crazy with the unscratachable itch. My gf got it in her eye. We could've lost our respective hearing and vision. Hope yours is just a one off incident. -N

Perhaps it was pityriasis rosea? You can look up pics online, your description sounds a lot like when I had it. Not itchy, just a lot of bumps everywhere! Hope you're feeling better! - Amy

Thanks Amy, I looked but the images are not the same, got the hub's cough, so that whole episode was probably leading up to it?....eep, at least the topical meds have made the rash less red. Take care, Kat
