Here's the latest macaron at Starbucks...sakura(cherry blossom) flavor.
The cream inside is a light brown, but has a very nice, light cherry taste. This went nicely with black coffee, short sized, of course!
It is Friday here, hope you have a nice weekend.
Sakura macarons! Too bad the Starbucks in Hawaii don't sell macarons I would have loved to try it!
ReplyDeletetry the petit vanilla scones, Laura! They were great!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty little things. Enjoy your weekend too Kat.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I really liked the light pink color, Barbara.

Just had a sakura macaron-the last one on the stand-at the Karasuma Shijo Kudaru Starbucks. It was very good:)
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it Tamakikat! I wanted to try it with their new coffee, Peru, but they were still brewing it when I was ordering, so I ended up having it with the Yukon Blend.

The quality of Starbuck's coffee here is really going down. Our latte taste of milk and water, but nowhere can you find the coffee... *sigh* we've given up on it.
ReplyDeleteThat is awful, Monique! Hope you can find "coffee" somewhere else :)

Peru? Yukon? Sounds good. I've got to remember to be more adventurous and order more than just plain old latte and a sweet.
ReplyDeleteUsually when I order a sweet I try the "coffee of the day", Kathy, especially if it is NOT the house blend :)

I don't know what i would do if I could not find a Starbucks -I hope the taste improves for Monique-maybe the water?
ReplyDeleteI hope the taste improves for Monique too, Jann. It is either the water or the person making the coffees.
