Lots of nature to take in while in Okinawa. Lots of plants that reminded me of home as well as plants that I had never seen before. The things that impressed me the most were all the butterflies fluttering around here and there and lots of dragonflies zipping around.
Beautiful sunsets. (The one on the left was on 9/4 and the one on the right on 9/5.)
We were lucky to have great weather while we were there.
Kat it sounds like you have had fabulous time in Okinawa. Wonderful food and interesting cultural and historic adventures. It must have been nice to meet up with a fellow blogger.
ReplyDeleteWhat incredible photos--a lot of them do look like you could be here. Love the butterflies!
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbara, it was fun meeting up with a fellow blogger :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the butterflies too, Deb, there was a butterfly area in our hotel in Naha and as soon as we stepped in to view them, they all came and landed on us, kind of like a welcome.
Take care.
Kat
I've just been catching up on your holiday posts, it looks like you had a fab time! Which bit of Okinawa were you at? I've always wanted to visit Okinawa, but I don't know the first thing about it.
ReplyDeleteHi P-T,
ReplyDeleteWe were on the main island, we started in Naha then checked out the southern areas then moved up towards the central part of the island. I hope you get a chance to visit there one day, very beautiful place.
Take care.
Kat
