Awhile back, I posted
Satoshi's favorite 5. Then
Paz commented and asked what my favorite 5 were.
It was hard to decide, but I chose 5 posts that were firsts for me in the kitchen (though most adventures in the kitchen are firsts for me) and an unforgettable adventure.
Furikake
Okara "potato" salad
Fig Jam
Rafute
Mt. Fuji
Do you have a favorite post or adventure on this blog?
Hello from one Kat to another,
ReplyDeleteI like that Paz thought to ask you what you like.
I like your favorites. As usual you have given me ideas about things to do/try.
Enjoy the sunshine.

It's too hard to pick one favorite. I like any of your eating/shopping adventures of course!
ReplyDeleteBTW--I have an award and an optional tag/meme for you on my blog today. ;-)
I hope you get to try some of these, Tamakikat :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb! I will check out your blog to see the meme. Thanks for the award too,you are so nice :)
Take care you two.
Kat
I can't pick a favorite from your blog, or even five. I love them all, especially with the mouth-watering photos of tasty things or the beautiful scenery shots.
ReplyDeleteOne entry that I really enjoyed, though, involved Satoshi disregarding the signs and staring at the monkeys and getting them upset. Everytime I think of that it makes me laugh. (Once I read that you were both okay, of course.)
Oh my gosh, Jenster, we still talk about that too, me: "SOMEONE" was staring at the monkey when the sign said not to.... him: "who did that?"....something to that effect :)
ReplyDeleteTake care.

Figs seem so yummy, I think I'll try it with ice cream one day ^_^
ReplyDeleteWOW GOOD POST!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you did this. It was fun going back to reread the posts. I especially loved your Fig Jam and Mt. Fuji post. Of course, everything you post here is really cool.
ReplyDeletePaz
I hope you like them Jennifer :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Oglasi!
Thanks Paz and thanks for the idea. I like what you post about too :)
Take care everyone.
Kat
I can't recall the title of the post, but I will never forget the one where Satoshi teased the monkey!
ReplyDeleteTHAT one is definitely unforgettable, Rowena :)
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Kat
I wonder what persimmons taste like.
ReplyDeleteHappy election day ya'll.
I hope you get a chance to try persimmons, Dave :)
ReplyDeleteTake care.

Kat, What are my chances a local grocery store would have them? Would I have to go to a Worlds food type joint?
ReplyDeleteI notice you are in California, Dave, you may find them at farmers markets in your area. Maybe they'll even give you taste before you buy :)
ReplyDeleteTake care and I hope you can find some.
