Recently Kazumi gave me some rolled cake by Harada Pan. (Thank you!)
Harada Pan is a bake shop in Kobe.
Their rolled cake was delicious, light, the butter cream filling wasn't too sweet, juicy raisins embedded the outside of the cake.
I want to go and check out what else they have, hopefully soon.

Come to think of it, you're right. I wish we had more of that type here! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this type of cake. Sometimes I can buy a matcha flavoured one here. But not today. I had to buy Australian lamingtons.
ReplyDeleteHopefully more bake shops will change their style, Lori :)
ReplyDeleteI have never tried a lamington Barbara, I hope the next time you go to buy cake they have matcha for you :)
Take care you two.
