Well, last summer during those
I fill the yutanpo with water then stick it into the refridge during the day. Then before going to bed, I take it out and we put our feet on it.
It is a great way to keep cool. Plus, it helps save us from sleeping with the a/c all night long.
Wow, I'm familiar but have only seen the metal kind on TV! I have a gel thing I freeze. But I really want a classic yutanpo now.. and a kaya mosquito tent while I'm at it, hehe. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm really gonna miss that the DoD will not be paying for my electicity (for A/C and heating) anymore.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get both Dennis :)
ReplyDeleteman you were so lucky, Nate!
Take care you two.
Kat
very interesting! lately, on the in-between temps and the a/c is off, i've given bean a mini ice pack to sleep with:) hmmm . . .maybe mommy and daddy need to try that too! so, under your feet, huh? and it keeps you cool enough??
ReplyDeleteand maybe the dog should used one too - LOL!
I do the feet, usually that is what I stick out of my blanket when I'm hot, Deb. I dunno know if the dogs would appreciate it, though they do have the fur coats lol...
ReplyDeletetake care.

I guess I should count my blessings that our heat is nothing compared to yours. Heck, I wear flannel pj's to bed and I don't even break a sweat at night!
ReplyDeleteRowena, Flannel?? I'm breaking a sweat just reading this... ;)
ReplyDeleteTake care.
