Thursday, Satoshi was supposed to have the day off, but he realized that there would be no managers on duty, so he switched his day off to Friday.

Friday, he was supposed to have the day off, but he realized that they had an afternoon meeting, so he only had the morning off.

We decided to meet up for dinner after his meeting, so for lunch, we went back to Chaina.

When we got there, it had just opened and there were already several people in there eating.

I ordered the yakisoba (fried noodle) teishoku (meal set) 700 yen (about US$7) and Satoshi ordered the stamina teishoku...900 yen (about US$9).

The stamina teishoku comes with thinly sliced pork cooked with garlic shoots, shredded cabbage, karaage (Japanese fried chicken), gyoza (potstickers), rice, egg drop soup & some pickles. I think the reason they call it "stamina" is because of the volume of food and because of the garlic.

My yakisoba teishoku came with fried noodles, karaage, shredded cabbage, egg drop soup, rice and some pickles. These noodles were seasoned with salt and not the brown sauce that you usually see, they were good though I like my yakisoba more on the dry side.

Within a couple of minutes, the place started filling up, some were turned away. Knowing that people were waiting for a table, made me eat faster than I would have liked.

After lunch, Satoshi went to work and I took a nap.

After our dinner in Umeda, we came back and bought dessert at 7-eleven.

Matoba Koji, a Japanese actor, loves sweets. If you saw him, you wouldn't think so, he has a kind of scary/powerful look to him. In fact, while we were in Palau, we saw him in person. Satoshi even told him "hi".

Anyway, he came out with a new dessert for 7-eleven, a HUGE cream puff. This cream puff is filled with lots of vanilla custard, then topped with dark chocolate and a drizzle of white chocolate. I thought this was a bit difficult to eat...I needed a spoon to eat the custard inside, it was delicious and you can't complain that there wasn't enough cream filling....150 yen (about US$1.50)

Ooh, and on the walk home from the station, I found another 50 yen piece (about US$.50). I made Satoshi dig it out of the hole I saw it in on the road, I also gave it to him after he washed it.
