Once Satoshi and I went to see the Phillies play and the weather was fahreezing!
Yet I saw many people walking around in thick coats and eating ice cream around the stadium.
At the time, I thought these people were crazy.
But nowadays, I can eat ice cream in fahreezing weather too. (though maybe not outside in the cold.)
This is the latest Haagen Dazs flavor here...cookies and green tea. The sweetness from the chocolate cookies balances out the bitterness of the green tea.
I would eat this again (even on a cold day).
I like to eat ice cream in Japan. I think because I've only been to Japan in Winter months and the ice cream doesn't melt in 30 seconds like it does here!!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh WOW- that sounds like an amazing flavor!! They have H-D Green Tea here but not this!
ReplyDeleteHey, I wanna eat some ice cream now! Baaaaad!

Cookies and green tea??? Oooh...that just gave me an idea. Brownie bits and green tea gelato. Now if this weather would just stay sunny and warm and not revert back to winter-ish conditions!
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I would love, love to try this flavor! I love green tea ice cream and I love cookies and cream ice cream.
ReplyDeleteRowena, I hear you on the weather, though I think we've truly gone towards summer. Looking forward to your green tea gelato :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kirbie, if you can get some green tea ice cream, add some oreos :)
Take care you two.
