starbucks

It has been awhile since I posted on Starbucks...

I thought that Starbucks used Tazo Teas...apparently they now have their own brand.

I think I've also mentioned that the treats at Starbucks are hit and miss.

This apple fritter was a definite miss.

I think apple fritters should actually have apple somewhere in them, don't you??

How is your week going? The wind is really icy but at least we have sun here.

  3. Is Starbucks expensive in Japan? It is here in Canada... well, at least relative to other coffee shops!

  4. I really liked Starbucks in Japan, but there doesn`t seem to be a lot in Australia and they are not as good. Australia has a great coffee culture and lots of coffee shops, so there is probably no room for a chain like Starbucks in the coffee market.

  6. yeah it is expensive Rissa, but one of the only places that doesn't allow smoking inside so I like them :)

I think there are many nice coffee places in Japan J-A but most times they allow smoking which I don't like, so I stick to Starbucks (which doesn't allow smoking)

I like apple fritters too Jalna, when they have apple in them :)

    Take care everyone.

  7. Apple fritters with no apples? Yuck. It's like this cream-filled donut that I had...the cream was there, but the donut was SO DRY! I think they just keep the donuts ready on the side (maybe for days) and only fill them when needed to fill the case. I was so mad. It's been averaging at 0°C lows and 4°C highs, but for the most part we have full sun every day.

  8. Up until about 6 months ago, I worked for Starbucks corporate office in the US. Starbucks actually OWNS Tazo Tea, so it may have just been a packaging change in Japan. In the states, it's still listed under Tazo.

  12. I was going to chime in about SBUX owning Tazo but I am slow and someone beat me to it. ;-) Maybe they are re-branding it Internationally.
