Friday, Satoshi had the day off, it was the only day he could check out the cherry blossoms around our area.
Unfortunately, it was forecasted to rain.
We started in the area above our apartment, Asahigaoka. This neighborhood has sakura trees in front of almost every home.
Then we checked out the area near the Hankyu Minoo Station.
And the rain came down quite steadily.
There was a sign from the city to ask everyone to watch out for the branches of the trees. Maximum height for vehicles was 3 meters (about 9 feet).
When we were walking around Asahigaoka, we saw a bulldozer on a flat bed, knock some branches of sakura...boo!
I learned something new the other day from the weather dude.
He said that if the middles are pinkish, then the flower will start to shed its petals.
Guess sakura season will be over soon...too fast this year!
Each year, I look forward to seeing sakura pictures! Maybe I'll get the chance to see them myself sometime. Sooooo gorgeous!

Yes, unfortunately there comes a time when the cherry blossoms must end. I too wish they would last for ever, but it always give us something to look forward to next year. Hope you can continue to enjoy them while they last.
