The other day in French class, one of the ladies gave everyone a bag of cookies.
Her friend has a little bakery called Deux de Douce in Meguro, Tokyo.
I tried looking online for info, but there wasn't anything.
Anyway, these cookies were nice sized, a little dense but still very delicious especially with a cappuccino....Merci!
Satoshi's off to work today, so it is just another "weekday" for me.
Hi Kat! How long have you been learning French? It's easy to find "language school/lesson" in Japan. I wish I can learn other language - but I know my husband will say just focus on learning English first. LOL. This cookie looks good!
ReplyDeleteLooks good with a nice chocolate swirl through them.

Thanks Nami, I've been taking French for several years now, but hardly have any improvement because we only meet twice a month. :)
ReplyDeleteVery delicious J-A!
Take care you two.

I just know that if someone gave me cookies out of the blue like that, I would have torn right into the bag without hestitation. What nice french language classmates!
ReplyDeleteLast time I came back from Hawaii, I gave my classmates (mostly women) lipgloss, Rowena, very inexpensive, and they were so happy, they reciprocated with cakes and all sorts of goodies.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Kat
