zippy's

Many foods remind me of home, but one is particular is Zippy's chili.

Their chili is thick and spicy.

I had a craving for this recently so I bought the chili and added my own brown rice and a "no nitrate" hot dog.

Perfect on a drizzly day.

  3. Good for you for and adding your own no-nitrate weiner. I really can't remember the last time I had real meat chili since I've been using soy alternatives for awhile. Gotta say that the chianina steak we had last weekend was so good but in a kind of "wow, I can really appreciate the flavor of good organic beef but nice to know that I can also live without it less".

  4. Hey Kat! One thing that the Missus really loved about the last time we were home was that brown rice was an option almost everywhere. There seems to have been a brown rice revoultion.
