hawaii eats

My first time peeling a pineapple.

It was quite easy.

My blog friend, Genki has a great tutorial, if you've never peeled one before.

This one was really sweet and juicy.

  1. Wow! First time? Never liked that part in pantry food prep. We weren't given latex gloves (way back then!) and the acid would bother my hands. Making pineapple boats was fun though.

  5. First time??? And...Hawaiian pineapples are the best pineapples ever! I am so mad I can't buy a Hawaiian pineapple on the East Coast. :( They import pineapples from Costa Rica, Venezuela etc. but do not want to sell domestic pineapples. Something is very, very wrong in this country! :( Sandy

    Take care.
