A beautiful example of flowers in Hawaii, but now I'm having a bit of hibiscus deja vu. As kids we used to pull out the stem and suck on the nectar at the broken end (or did I remember that all wrong?). The nuns would always scold us for wrecking the flowers.
I remember as kids, Rowena, other kids used to pull the ixoria (sp?) stem and suck on the nectar, along with the honeysuckle's stem too, I could be wrong though.
