white

I recently came across white maitake at the market.

I don't think it tastes any different from maitake and I'm glad we got to try this.

    Was it in any way more costly (or not) because it's not like the usual maitake?

    nope it was about the same price as regular brown maitake, Rowena, if it were more expensive, I don't think I would've tried it.
