müller

Recently tried these yogurts by Müller, a German maker that is marketing in the US through Quaker.

Both were on the sweeter side, I prefer my yogurt plain and unsweetened.

Out of the two, I enjoyed the greek version with caramelized almonds.

Not sure I would buy them again, but I'm glad I got to try them.

  1. Now those combos I haven't seen here. But I did try their exotic "mix" line: Bora Bora (coconut yogurt with lime nibs), Marrakech (green tea yogurt with choco-orange nibs), and Brasile (plain yogurt with papaya and mango). All of their flavored stuff is just TOO SWEET!

  5. When I lived briefly in Germany, Mueller yogurt was one of the cheapest brands and also had the most preservatives/additives/c chemicals. So even I, an American, looked down on Mueller. I can't believe they have the balls to represent German yogurt overseas. They will give European yogurt a bad name. One of the best German yogurt brands I recall is Landliebe. It had simple ingredients, wasn't too sweet, and came it cute glass jars that you can take back to the supermarket to get your deposit back. I loved Landliebe so much, especially the strawberry and vanilla flavors.

  6. Landliebe sounds good Smoothie Summer.
I especially like the idea of bringing the bottle back to refill.

    Take care.
