year of the horse

2014, the year of the horse.

Wishing everyone all the best this year.

We went to pay our respects at various shrines this morning, this is called hatsumode (hah-tsu-mow-day).

The weather was overcast for most of the day.

We'll be visiting MIL tomorrow.

    The 1st was sunny and gorgeous, but today it's the total opposite with snow this morning and now rain. It's nice to see that the days are beginning to get longer!

    Today is sunny for us, Rowena, it had been really overcast the past couple of days. I am bummed as I haven't seen a flurry this year! Oh & my package must've been enjoyed by the Italian customs agents...it's been over a month since I sent it to you :(

    Yep, those buggahs must be having a blast with il pacchetto dal Giappone! They could've atleast sent me a customs notice like they did when my dad sent something.
