kogarashi ichi-go

Kogarashi ichi-go (koh-gah-rah-she itchy-go) is what the Japanese call the first wintry winds.

Last week, the first wintry winds blew and boy was it blustery!

Apparently these winds were 15 days earlier than last year.

Almost typhoon-ish winds, you could feel the temperature dropping.

Hope these drops in temperatures will make the autumn leaves turn a pretty red!
