yashi pan

Tried Yashi Pan's stollen.

This version was a little more bready...but still had lots of dried fruits and nuts in it.

Hope to find more stollen to try...

  1. so I've been checking out stollen recipes on german sites...and they say to wrap the stollen in foil and store for a couple of weeks before eating? maybe google translate is throwing something off.

  2. Rowena, my understanding is that it is similar to fruitcake, so you would let it "meld" for a couple of weeks before eating. I am not too sure how authentic the types I have been eating are, so we usually eat it up within a couple of days.
