supermarket finds

Love the different varieties of fruits in Japan.

This strawberry is named Ibarakiss...Ibaraki prefecture + Kiss = Ibarakiss, cute yeah?!

The berries were bruised, but huge and sweet.

I'm glad we got to try these.

    Bought a tray of strawberries from a stall in Nishiki market. Huge and gorgeous @1500 yen for 5. Sadly, taste was disappointing.

    we went on a strawberry binge the last couple of weeks, buying 2 kilo crates (all from Spain and large and sweet!) at a time and stuffing.our.faces!
