Kat & Satoshi's eating and traveling adventures around Japan (and sometimes Hawaii)
I just bought cherries from Foodland yesterday that were disappointing. They were $6/pound and prepacked in 2 pound bags. Ack!!
Jalna, I hate when that happens, do you think you might be able to bake with it?!Take care.Kat
Did they taste any different from typical cherries we had in Hawaii and the states?
Kirk, the sour ones reminded me of rainier type (but sour)...the darker ones reminded me of the bing type.Take care.Kat
I always go for the darker, plumper duroni cherries here, especially for using in desserts.
Rowena, I really gotta remember the darker the better.Take care.Kat
