Sunday, we bought hiyashi chuka from Musashiya.
The owner asked if I wanted the sauce separately and I said "yes please".
I was surprised though because I envisioned a tiny plastic container of sauce, not the "bottle" of sauce that she gave us.
We've been using the rest of the sauce as dressing.
They sent us a delicious thank you gift...all the best K!
More chocolate than bread, not that I am complaining...108 yen (tax included)...should've toasted it to get the chocolate oozy.
The daily counts have not really gone down much in Tokyo, the main branch of government is talking about changing how the information is gathered and letting the asymptomatic people to be able to go out to buy food...but leaving it up to the local governments which means chaos...
Tokyo People...as I was walking behind this woman, I was wondering what the white thing was on her sleeve...it was her mask...And check out how high this guy's heels are...
Hope you are all doing well, have a safe weekend.
How cool that you got a bottle of the sauce!
ReplyDeleteI was trying to figure out what you meant by covering the lines...then realized it's the yellow tubing, right? Interesting.
ReplyDeleteCold noodles has got to be one of the greatest foods for hot, humid days. Any kind, but I especially like mul naengmyun since the broth is still slushy.
I thought the guy wearing the super high heels was a girl.
