this and that

Not sure when they covered the electrical lines in front of our apartment building, but I have a feeling it was done as a precautionary so that the people doing the renovations do not hit the line or get hurt.
Sunday, we bought hiyashi chuka from Musashiya.

The owner asked if I wanted the sauce separately and I said "yes please".

I was surprised though because I envisioned a tiny plastic container of sauce, not the "bottle" of sauce that she gave us.

We've been using the rest of the sauce as dressing.

If you remember in the early days of this blog, we used to get together with some of Satoshi's co-workers and their children for Christmas...well, one of them recently got married!

They sent us a delicious thank you gift...all the best K!

I recently tried this Choco France from Heart Bread Antique, the chocolate ratio was krazy!

More chocolate than bread, not that I am complaining...108 yen (tax included)...should've toasted it to get the chocolate oozy.

The daily counts have not really gone down much in Tokyo, the main branch of government is talking about changing how the information is gathered and letting the asymptomatic people to be able to go out to buy food...but leaving it up to the local governments which means chaos...

Tokyo People...as I was walking behind this woman, I was wondering what the white thing was on her sleeve...it was her mask...
And check out how high this guy's heels are...

Hope you are all doing well, have a safe weekend.

  2. I was trying to figure out what you meant by covering the lines...then realized it's the yellow tubing, right? Interesting.
Cold noodles has got to be one of the greatest foods for hot, humid days. Any kind, but I especially like mul naengmyun since the broth is still slushy.
I thought the guy wearing the super high heels was a girl.

  7. Rowena, it was kind of like a foccacia type of texture with a "crust", there was lots of chocolate! Hope you can figure out how to recreate it.

    Take care.
