When we went through the area in the past, I had remembered seeing a tiny restaurant but couldn't remember the name.
I tried their mabodon...kind of heavy on the slurry, a little spicy, lots of garlic and ginger in this, this is Japanese style mabo tofu....700 yen (tax included)
Satoshi went with their “A” lunch...He said the portions were just perfect for him.
You should know he actually wanted an order of gyoza too but the older couple running the place was kind of overwhelmed trying to fill a large delivery order, so they told him he couldn't order it...
Nearby we stumbled upon Ebisuya Tofu and picked up some of their soy milk sweets to try.okara donut...90 yen, soy milk cheese cake...210 yen and soy milk cream cheese dessert 240 yen, all tax included.
We shared these and were impressed that you could still taste the soy milk and that these were not too sweet.
I'll be back to buy tofu products from Ebisuya and we also want to go back to try the gyoza at Kinenbi.
