this and that

Saturday was the 12th anniversary of the Tohoku Earthquake. We were shaken awake by a tiny earthquake…eep!

Then at 14:45 when the earthquake happened 12 years ago, there was a moment of silence at the hospital where Satoshi’s dentist is. 

I wished the cashier of the hospital actually participated in the moment of silence instead of all of us being able to hear coins rattling and cash register opening and closing

Tokyo People...this person is ready for Spring...

every time we pass this shop, the piggy is always dressed up for different seasons...

Uniqlo collaborated with Reyn Spooner & Peanuts...got myself a new pair of shorts, whoo!

Märchen...I've had their tuna avocado sandwiches when we lived in Osaka.

But, never came across them in Tokyo...apparently these are a new item at the shop in Kamata 

The yumenoka strawberry fruit sandwiches were delicious too.

Comme’n Jambon beurre with a carrot focaccia ...delicious.

And their daily cream pan is actually a bostock...carrot brioche filled with lots of custard then topped with lots of sliced almonds and sugar…definitely a no share item.

Today starts no masking..they moved it up from May 8.

I’ll still be masking, but am thinking to switch to the Uniqlo airism mask when the temps go up.
