Our Adventures in Japan: thanks for today

Friend Gaye and her husband Jim are in Tokyo.

Their cruise just ended and they'll be heading home soon.

Glad we were able to get together with them on Sunday.

The girls had soba with tendon...1800 yen (plus tax)

The boys had soba with takikomi gohan...1800 yen (plus tax)

The boys also had beer...950 yen (plus tax)

Plus whatever the girls couldn't finish.

Afterwards, we grabbed some chairs and sat under one of the umbrellas on Ginza Chuo Dori and people watched while talking story.

It was our first time doing this…Fun times

Thanks for today Gaye and Jim, we hope you had enough to eat and we appreciate you making time for us.

And thank you for all these goodies.

See you both again soon.

Anonymous said...: my fave! Soba! One year I sat in Ginza but boy, it was cold, and especially drinking a cold SBux drink. I saw that it was quite warm the other day, like 82 degrees???!!! Such crazy weather!
