nicolas seiyodo

Nicolas Seiyodo is a tiny bakery that has been in business since 1912.

They not only sell cakes, pastries and baked goods, but they also sell bento!

As I was about to enter the shop, a grandma stood next to me asking if the daily bento was already sold out.

It was not.

So, she was able to get some for her lunch.

They had so many baked items on their shelves and cakes in their showcase, it was hard to make a decision.

After circling several times, I bought a curry pan and kuromame cream cheese bread...330 yen (tax included) for both!

So reasonable!

When I got home, I "refreshed" these in the toaster.

The curry pan was filled with spicy curry and was not greasy and the kuromame cream cheese bread was filled with cream cheese and several kuromame (sweetened black beans)...delicious!

Would definitely like to check out other items, I'll be back.

  3. spicy curry pan sounds ono and I always remember your hack about putting lettuce and tomato and a little touch of dressing. Even the kuromame pan sounds delicious.
