ume no mi hijiki

Tried this hijiki that is mixed with karikari (crunchy) ume

Made by Etoya which is from Dazaifu, Fukuoka
 

They have other variations but I was interested in trying this one
It was good mixed in rice
And on eggs

I'm glad we got to try this and I would get it again if I see it at the market

  2. i really have to train myself to only buy these flat packages of omiyage. I did try that ume hijiki before and didn't think to look for it, besides, my luggage had huge boxes of cookies. Don't think I'd do that again. LOL
