11.11.11

It's 11.11.11 today...Pocky Day here.

Not a holiday or anything, but a chance to eat some delicious pocky.

Pocky are crackers that look like pretzles dipped in chocolate and decorated with nuts or pureed fruit.

In fact, there is another product called Pretz which are the undipped versions of Pocky and are more savory.

This Pocky is shaped as a heart...cute, yeah?!

It's Friday, have a good weekend and happy Pocky Day!

  7. If I had known about this earlier I could've also picked up some Mikado sticks. I had no idea that they were the european version to pocky sticks until now!

  11. Kat, I remember eating Pocky while growing up in Hawaii and relishing the fact that mainlanders didn't know about it. Now that I live near Seattle, there are Pocky sticks to be found everywhere, in all different versions (even one packaged for men!). I still love them but have to share them with my kids now. In fact, a few years ago they and their school friends were crazy about Pocky sticks and would keep bringing them to school.

    Guess the secret's out, huh?

    Take care.
