made in usa

A great food find at Kaldi Coffee recently...natural peanut butter.

Peanuts and sea salt...that's it.

Be sure to mix it well as there is oil from the peanuts on the top.

Even after mixing, this was a little more liquidy than I am used to, but delicious all the same.

Also, it isn't creamy, it is crunchy. The bits aren't all uniform in size which makes it more unique.

It's made in the U.S.A., maybe not a good carbon footprint, but it is as natural as you can get with peanut butter.

  1. I think the label design is cute! Wondering how you'll use that jar up. I still have 1/2 jar of filipino pb sitting in the fridge since I bought it to make kare-kare stew.

  2. That's made in my hometown! Did you refrigerate it? After you mix it up, it will last longer if you store it in the fridge. It won't separate again, and the consistency is thicker.

  3. I have that peanut butter too! It is amazing! I was really craving peanut butter when I found it and I got a jar, even though it was more than I wanted to spend. I'm about halfway through my second jar...that I bought last week. Oh dear!

It is so good! But now that you've told everyone about it, I won't be able to find it next time I'm at a Kaldi's :-(

    Just kidding!

cool, LJ! I did put it in the refridge after I opened and mixed it, it is starting to get thicker :)

ha ha Helen, after buying it, I went back to Kaldi and they had no more :0

  6. I'm still new to peanut butter and I have never owned one... In Japan we barely have peanut butter dish, you know. I think my mom bought once and no one actually enjoyed eating it (she probably didn't know how to use/cook with it). I have to look for good PB now since I got challenged by a food blogger to make PB cookies. LOL!

  7. hope you can find a brand you like Nami. A lot have lots of sugar, so if you want something natural, look for something with only peanuts and salt in it. my mom usually buys marantha brand because she cannot have a lot of salt, and this brand makes their peanut butter with just peanuts.

looking forward to seeing your pb cookies!

    take care.
