The weather has been warming up. Unfortunately, we have also been having major air pollution from China.
Personally, I think we all gotta stop giving them so much work to manufacture stuff for us.
Anyway, on Tuesday, I thought I'd check out the bairin (apricot orchard) at Osaka Castle before an appointment I had.
There were tons of people who also had the same idea.
The orchard is only 50% in bloom, but it was still quite nice.
I hope Satoshi and I can check it out again soon.
SOOOOO PRETTY!!!!
ReplyDeleteoh wow! I'm so happy that you posted this picture because my husband and I will be in Osaka and Kyoto late next week. I thought we were too early for the sakura, and totally forgot about this apricot flowering. It's so beautiful and hope they're in full bloom next weekend!

Seeing the blooms remind me that soon we should be getting more variety of fruits at the market. Love apples and oranges and kiwis, but I'm ready for something different!

It's around late May/June. There are strawbs in the stores but they're coming from Spain. I try to stick with buying "local" as much as possible, but them pineapples and avos are the only exempted fruits.
ReplyDeleteyeah I hear you on those items, Rowena, we also buy bananas that come from the Philippines.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
