lifehack

I've been using this lifehack for some time now, and recently told a friend about this.

Most washers in Japan do not have the thingy in the middle to wash the clothes.

Because of this, the clothes end up all tangled in a big ball.

But, if you put two empty 500 milliliter plastic bottles with the caps on into a net, and wash your clothes...

The middle of the washer ends up being cleared and most times the clothes do not tangle.

If you have the same type of washer, and do try this, I hope it works for you too.

p.s. thanks Rowena for reminding me to post about this :)

  1. That's so clever and interesting to see how other countries do their laundry. Someone told me Japanese washers didn't drain or spin the water out on their own many years ago so there was a crank mechanism you used to squeeze the water out after your clothes went through the wash cycle. I wish the U.S. had those washer-dryer in one machines I've seen in other countries.

  2. aha!, the middle thingy! I knew that photo had something about it but went right over my head. I have a frontloader, no middle anything, but no big probs with stuff getting tangled.

  7. Sorry Tobias, I didn't think this lifehack up, I saw it on a television program many years ago.

    Take care.
