Nabana is broccoli rabe.
I couldn't resist trying it because there were two packages bundled together for only 98 yen (plus tax).
The stocks are softer than regular broccoli.
I sauteed one package with some char siu.
Super easy and tasty.
I LOVE this veg. I like to quick-fry in a bit of olive oil and a sprinkle of chile pepper flakes, and then use it as a pizza topping with pork sausage - so YUMMMMM!
ReplyDeleteooh that does sound good, Rowena!

Broccoli rabe and broccolini are great Kat. I will often use an infused olive oil and quickly roast or grill.
ReplyDeleteYour preparation sounds nice too Kirk :)
