sakura walk (honmonji)

On my way to the bakery yesterday, I noticed several trees along the Nomi River.

Then on my way from the bakery to the market, I took a side trip to the area around Honmonji.

There was an area filled with tulips.

Many were admiring the cherry blossoms.

Glad I was able to do my errands and also check out some cherry blossoms before the rains came.

p.s. the new era was named "Reiwa"...if you are interested, you can read more about it here.

  1. I love the curved edging fencing in the tulips - so pretty!

  2. Rowena, those curved edges are the tiles that they use for roofs in Japan.

    Thanks Kirk :)

    Take care you two.
