still at it...every time I pass by

this vet always has a line...

this week we were waiting for the flower on the right to bloom…

whoo it finally started to bloom this morning!

the eye of shinjuku, they stopped it from spinning a couple maybe more years back?...glad it is still here 

Met up with family last night, my aunty and her husband are here.

Dinner was at Nawab Dining Cafe.

I had remembered something my Aunty told me awhile back that they enjoyed Indian curries, we had not tried this place before but it was near to where they were staying.

Aunty and I had their 1 drink set, it came with a samosa, tandoori chicken, a small salad and either a beer, wine or orange juice...we both chose beer

Loved the samosa and chicken, tasty and the chicken was super tender!

We made reservations and had dinner at 18:00 which was perfect because no one else was there!

Satoshi and W had their 2 curry...Satoshi chose their spinach mushroom curry and coconut seafood curry...

W had their dal curry and butter chicken curry...both meals came with naan and turmeric rice...they both said they enjoyed their choices.

After dinner we went a couple doors down to Saint Marc Cafe for parfaits.

It was nice to see them and catch up.

One thing about West Shinjuku is that it isn't as krazy crowded as Kabukicho or closer to the JR Shinjuku station

Never noticed our police box from this direction and thought it was so cute.

This week was Golden Week, no restrictions, no masks (if you chose to not wear one).

The wait for non-reserved seating on the Shinkansen (bullet train) was 30 minutes to an hour (plus!)...means it took that long just to get on board!

People and lines everywhere, it was kinda krazy.

We laid as low as possible and hope to go holoholo (gallavanting) after Golden Week is over.
