kanreki

“Someone” turns 60! today
 

Red is the color for "Kanreki", what the Japanese call turning 60.


In the past, a red hat and happi (vest) are worn to celebrate

I found this t-shirt in Sugamo at Maruji, they sell everything red…underwear, these Kanreki t-shirts and the formal Kanreki gear.
