They only sell these on Wednesdays and have always been sold out by the time we've gone past the shop.
The wife of the owner always tells us, "if you come by 8:15, you might be able to buy some"...emphasis on "might"
We could always reserve some but with the weather as weird as it has been the day we do reserve some would probably rain cats and dogs...or something...
BUT...Inose had no line...they were not sold out and we were able to buy shumai!
These were delicious! super moist and flavorful...450 yen (tax included) was super cheap too.
No wonder most people buy more than one container.
I'm glad we tried these and will buy these again.
wow you had great luck on your side with no line at the place; looks good!
ReplyDeleteRowena, the heat was brutal, but I’m glad we were able to get some:)

not much of pork hash fan but I love half moon and pepeiau. Except, lately, I've been eating pork hash and wondering why I didn't like it. LOL. Must be because all the good places were closed for so long and just craving anything.
ReplyDeleteSince Char Hun Sut is closed permanently along with Libby's, Sing Cheong Yuen in Chinatown has been satisfying my cravings. Best thing is they have both baked and steamed manapua plus a lot more selection of dim sum.

V, so many places closed down yeah? I still like Royal Kitchen for manapua
