ginger ale

I know I was talking about soup weather but during the daytime it's been kinda summery. Still, you see people wearing boots and mufflers. Which makes me perspire just looking at them.

And I know they are looking at me weird because I am still wearing t-shirts and capri jeans...whatever...

For some reason I've been craving bubbles, but didn't want to buy soda, so I made...homemade ginger ale.

So easy, take a tablespoon of ginger syrup.

Add 200 ml (1 cup) of club soda.

Not as sweet as some of the ginger ales out there, but delish and refreshing!

Cool I have to try that maybe I can find ginger syrup from Down to Earth. Thanks!

Sounds tasty! And I'm jealous of your warm weather...

If you can get some ginger & honey Laura, you don't have to buy syrup.

I'd trade for something in-between LJ :)

Take care you two.

I totally know what you mean! I was in New York last week walking around in Capri pants too and sweating my butt off. People were wearing wool peacoats and scarves. It got me even sweatier just being near them.

I think most commercial ginger ale is too sweet--I bet this is a vast improvement!

It's funny, even though I love it and have made my own before the only time I really drink ginger ale is on airplanes. ;-)

Boots and mufflers...bleh. As soon as we touched down in Milan I knew that we'd stick out like sore thumbs...MotH in hawaiian tshirt and jeans and me in denim jacket and lightweight hiking pants. Everybody else in dark coats, boots, and scarves! You shoulda seen MotH's tshirt - it said AINOKEA.

I keep forgetting to get Satoshi an "ainokea" shirt Rowena, love it!

Take care you two.
