ginza bairin

Got to catch up with Greg and Val.

We had lunch at Ginza Bairin and I had the same thing I had last time we ate here...tonkatsu sandwich.

The quality of the food is still good, and though we still detest their adding an automatic 15% service charge, they did give us a little kama'aina (local) discount.

Always nice catching up with these two. (Thanks you guys!)

The building I used to work in many moons ago, used to be Mitsukoshi department store (way way back in the day).

Then it changed to Planet Hollywood then a stuffed bear shop...and now it is a Longs Drugs!

The funny thing about this place is that it doesn't honor the sale ads they print in the newspaper...

It's open 24 hours, so we'll see how long it lasts...
