Featured on a J-drama, we've wanted to check Ginza Lion's Beer Hall for some time, this hall used to be run by Dainippon Beer but is now run by Sapporo Beer.

This particular beer hall managed to survive WWII, where other beer halls had been destroyed by air raids.

Beautiful mosaic tiled sceneries and art are all over the interior.

Somehow the photos I had seen made the place seem bigger.

Satoshi had their premium amber (large) while I had their premium black (small)
We tried the curry wurst...a bit oily but delicious, even if the sausage was cut it still had some "snap" to it.
Katsu sando (sandwich)...delicious, the meat was tender
Satoshi had to have sashimi, so he ordered katsuo (bonito) tataki.
I ordered a 200 gram steak to share...so tender!

Not somewhere to go everyday but nice to take visitors from out of town to.

I'm glad we checked this out.

After lunch, checked out the roof garden at Ginza Six and also the kimono designer’s shop that BIL works for.

Then we went to Venchi to have dessert...after waiting in line for almost 30 minutes...

Piccolo with chocolate sprinkles, baciodidama and chocoviar 75%...rich!

Satoshi had their piccolo with mango and strawberry stracciatella!

After eating we walked from Ginza to Hamamatsucho.

Lots of eating and lots of walking.

Lots of people out and about too.

I love how you can see all the different buildings and decor and capture them.
Most of the time, just trying to find my way, can't see all the architecture, only following google street so thank you!
