heads up
This coming Saturday and Sunday, they will be doing work around the JR Tamachi station.
So there are closures on the Yamanote line and Keihin Tohoku lines between Osaki and Ueno.
Both days have different closures, so be sure to check the signs before hand.

i was wondering....so if you have to go all the way around because of the closure, do they give you a discount? KInda sucks if you only had to go 3 or 4 stations but since the closure is one of those stations, you have to go opposite way and way longer ride. v
V, they recommend using buses too, but no way would they give you a discount, and as long as you don't get off the train, it shouldn't cost you more to ride the train, just longer ride. Take care, Kat
