gadgets

During the winter months, our windows have lots of condensation on them.

This gadget attaches to a a plastic bottle and while you squeegee the windows, it catches the water.

Then after you are finished, just removed the squeegee and dump out the water.

I was sad the other day, one of my favorite measuring spoons broke.

I was spooning out some hardened honey, and "snap" the handle broke off.

I figured the measuring part still "works" so I threw out only the handle.

Are you using any interesting gadgets in your house these days?

Whoa...this new, cleaner look of the comment page. Blogger just cannot leave stuff alone! I don't have any new gadgets to speak of but that squeegee would've been a handy tool before we got the wood-burning stove. Now my problem is the opposite...sometimes the room is too dry (I can tell when my eyes are hurting). I always have to put a pot of water on the top for some humidity.

ps - there isn't the tiny box to check for updates on email comments.

dunno why there is no email for updates anymore Rowena :( cannot find any info anywhere on google either :(

boo hiss!

by the way, I dry our laundry in the same room with our heater and find that it helps keep things hydrated :)

take care.

I too have a deep attachment with my measuring spoons (fortunately they are aluminum).
What is it about those spoons?
Memories of successes and failure or even of childhood efforts
What a fun post!

The squeegee bottle is a great idea--it would be great for the shower door too. ;-)
