I went to the Wahiawa Ryusenji Soto Mission's Bon Dance on Friday with Aunty M.
There was a nice turn out.
It was our first time going to this bon dance and I'm glad we did.

Something I really miss about "home" - obon season
Yes, Obon is one thing I miss about things back home. And I also miss all the shogatsu food at New Year's.

so envious...it has been AGES since I've been to bon dance, and I don't think MotH has ever seen one yet.
I hope MoTH, will be able to experience Bon Dance soon Rowena:)
