piman

After showing you the bell pepper plant on my lanai, nothing happened.

The other day, I was reading up on the care for bell peppers and found that they like heat and sun but not too high temps.

Back in August, the leaves were curling and falling off, a sign that it was just too darn hot.

So, now, the weather is getting cooler, we still have some sun during the day time and guess what...

(insert happy dance)

Will update when I harvest...

p.s. I just got a warning that my labels have reached the max of 2000 on blogger(which I didn't know there was a max, nor that I had that many labels (tags)), so I've started to edit some of my posts, taking out labels of restaurant names and product names, I hope I am not overflowing your rss readers by doing this, if I am, gomennasai (sorry!). Hopefully this doesn't affect searching for specific topics on my blog either....

Yay! Look at your pepper--very cool! Bummer on the labels what a pain. I never knew there was a limit either.

Ah the joys of growing your own... I can totally relate Kat, I am planting my own bean sprouts.

The kicker Debinhawaii is that I have gotten my labels down to 1900 something and now I cannot ADD any new ones...sigh.

Ooh bean sprouts, are they hard to grow Mikuru?

Thanks Laura!

Take care everyone.

So easy to grow sprouts. A bottle, a peforated cap (cheap things made for the purpose or coarse cloth). seeds and water. Plus diligence to rinse at least twice a day. I've grown even alfalfa sprouts.

Thanks Nate! Now that you mention it, I remember growing alfalfa in the refridge way back when.

Take care.

Oooh nice piman! One of these days I'll try to grown piman on my lanai. I wish there was more sun!

The labels thing is tricky... I didn't know there was a limit either!

Dunno if you read my message to Debinhawaii, Rick, but I deleted my labels down to 1900 something and still cannot add...sigh.

Look forward to your green thumb posts :)

Take care.

I'm still waiting for the 2 that are still struggling to grow on the plants. You know the deal. MrB is always out there digging up the dirt around them, thereby disturbing their preciuos root systems. I should just try again next year in a safer, dog-proof area!

2000 labels?

Rowena, I wonder how long these will take to get "red"? Okay, maybe I should just wait for them to get bigger..

It is a big subject on Blogger Forum now, apparently Blogger has set the limit to labels (tags) to 2000, if you use Italy, 5 times it only counts as 1 label, but if you break down the area, like Lecco, it would count as another label. I guess the key is not to be too specific with your labels. :(

Take care.
