Even with the sun out.
Lunch yesterday was a sushi bento bought from the department store food floor.
1 crab inarizushi, 3 temarizushi (bite size sushi) (crab, scallop & shrimp), 2 oshizushi (pressed sushi) shrimp & anago (conger eel), 2 crab makizushi...714 yen (about US$7.14)
Cold items but so pretty, yeah?? I had these with some green tea...mmm!

Ahh, so cute! I've only seen such sushi in the oblong form.
Very pretty sushi bento!! Presentation is huge in Japan and that is a real bargain for only 714 yen. Was it real good?

I have a hunch that we'll be going back to cold too....which I will MISS because this 14-17°C weather has been great! At least we'll be able to enjoy maki sushi for Vday!
still jealous of your 14-17C Rowena, I think the highest we got this week was 9C?? ooh are you gonna make the flower type makizushi?? (when you cut it it looks like a flower??)
